Tall perennial. Lower leaves oblong-ovate, 1 ½ -3 x longer than broad, undulate-denticulate, cordate at the base. Glomeruli ofthe inflorescence contiguous, at least above. Pedicels thin, flexuous, as long as to longer than the inner perianth segments, articulated in the lower half. Inner perianth segments ± oblong-ovate, deeply dentate, the teeth with circinately incurled apices, at least one segment with a pronounced fusiform tubercle. FI. 5-8.
