Bulb to 1.5 cm diam. Stem 8-20 cm, sometimes papillose. Leaves 5-10, linear-lanceolate to linear, all alternate or lowest opposite; lowest 5-12 x 0.5 cm, uppermost 4-7 cm. Flowers 1-2; perianth narrowly campanulate, greenish-yellow; segments oblanceolate, obtuse but not rounded, 15-25 mm, outer 4-6 mm broad, inner 3-5 mm broad. Nectaries 2 x 1 mm, lanceolate, at base of perianth. Filaments 5-8 mm, papillose. Style 6-8 mm, papillose, clavate, apex undivided or 3-fid; branches 1 mm. Capsule not winged. Fl. 2-3. Pinus brutia forest, macchie on serpentine, s.l.-1000 m.
