Erect perennial. Stems terete, weakly sulcate, glabrous, 30-70 cm. Basal leaves short-peduncled , 3-pinnate, broadly ovate-triangular in outline, 15-25 x 15-30 cm, setulose-puberulent, canescent beneath, sparsely setulose to glabrous, green above; ultimate segments ovate, 1-2-pinnatisect; lobes triangular-oblong, 1-2 mm, obtuse or acute; sheaths narrowly inflated, papery, linear-oblong, puberulent or glabrescent, usually pinkish. Inflorescence paniculate-corymbose; central umbels shortly peduncled or sessile, rays 7-12, unequal, 2-5 cm; lateral umbels long-peduncled, sterile; flowers 8-12 per umbellule; pedicels 3-5 mm. Petals 2-2,5 mm, setulose-puberulent on lower side. Mericarps elliptic to orbicular, 12-20 x 10-13 mm, dorsal ridges filiform, lateral wings well developed, 2-4 mm wide; dorsal vittae 4-6 per vallecula, commissural 8-12. Fl. 5-6. Dry stony slopes, salty steppe, 800-2150 m.
