Delicate annual 5-10 cm, single stemmed or branched from base, below and on basal leaves with a thin indumentum of branched hairs, or glabrous. Basal leaves few, broadly or narrowly ovate, entire. Cauline leaves oblong, glabrous. Inflorescence glabrous. Petals 2-2.5 x 1-1.5 mm, obovate. Ovary 8-10-ovulate. Fruiting pedicels erect-ascending, 7-18 mm. Fruit 4-4.5 x 2-2.5 mm, rounded at apex. Fl. 4-5. Stony slopes, 1000-1400 m.
