Biennial herbs, somewhat glaucous, the whole plant with an indumentum of stellate hairs, and longer, stipitate, glandular hairs. Stems branched, erect, up to 50 cm. Lower leaves lanceolate, dentate to pinnatifid. Upper leaves usually entire. Petals 6-9 mm, yellow. Siliquae contorted, twisted, scabrid with glandular hairs. Stigma bifid, the lobes spreading, 0,5 mm long. Fl. 6. Calcareous steppe, 1000m.
