Perennial. Stems ascending, branched. Ochreae brown, truncate, the nerves exserted as long aristae. Leaves lanceolate, shortly petiolate, rounded or cuneate at the base, ciliate. Inflorescence a lax spike. Flower white to pink. Perianth 2-2,5 mm. Nut brown, shining, included in the perianth. Fl. 6-8. Swamps near s.l.
