Small shrub up to 30 cm, often prostrate. Leaves digitate with 5-7 linear-spathulate, sericeous leaflets 7-12 mm. Flowers solitary or up to three per umbel. Calyx pubescent, often reddish. Corolla golden yellow, 14-30 mm, the claws 12-18 mm, sericeous. Legume 15-20 x c. 4 mm, reddish. Fl. 3-6. Stony ground on chalk or serpentine, often in macchie, 50-1700 m.
