Caespitose perennial. Stems up to 5 cm, erect, pilose. Basal leaves linear, c. 5 x 0,75mm; cauline leaves very narrowly elliptic; all ± ciliate. Stems 1-flowered. Calyx 24-25 mm, slightly inflated in fruit, puberulous. Petals pink, auriculate, the limb bipartite for up to 1/2 its length. Anthophore 11-12mm, glabrous. Capsule ovoid, included in the calyx. Fl. 8. Alt. C. 3000 m.
Endemic; probably closest to S. fenzlii, but both species are insufficiently known. Ir.-Tur. element.
