Ascending or erect annual with white adpressed-puberulent stems 3-15 cm. Leaves 2-7 cm; leaflets 5-12 mm, oblong to obovate, retuse, glabrous above, minutely and sparsely adpressed simple-hairy below, 5-7-paired; stipules c. 2 mm, triangular. Flowers in dense 3-6-flowered spikes. Bracts c. 1 mm, lanceolate, white-hairy. Calyx 2-3 mm, campanulate, black and white adpressed simple-hairy; teeth 0.5 mm. Corolla whitish-pink or mauve; standard 6-8 mm. Legumes 10-12 x 2-4 mm, in a stellate cluster, slightly curved, rugose, glabrescent, valves carinate. Fl. 5-6. Sandy waste, steppe, 920-1200 m.
