Very similar to A. orientalis but flowers equalling bracts or shorter; corolla 5-7 mm, bluish-violet to whitish, tube 4-6 mm, widened in upper 1/3, lobes 0.5-2 mm; anthers 0.7-1 mm, oblong-elliptic; mericarps 2-3 mm diam. Fl. 3-7. Open ground, fields and waste places, nr s.l.-1900 m.
