Plant 15-30 cm, with dense ± spreading eglandular robust 2-3 mm setae and minute pubescent eglandular and glandular hairs. Basal leaves linear-lanceolate, 5-15 x 0.5-1,5 cm; cauline linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, 2-8 x 0.3-1.5 cm. Cymes 10-15 cm in fruit. Bracts linear-lanceolate, 1-3.5 x 0.5-0.8 cm. Calyx 8-10 mm in flower, 11-15 mm in fruit. Corolla yellow, 7-14 mm, limb 3-4 mm diam., ± puberulent and glandular outside. Nutlets 3.5-4 mm diam., scrobiculate-reticulate; beak strongly deflexed. Fl. 5-7. Stony limestone slopes, steppe, vine-yards, 300-2100 m.
