Glandular-pubescent annual. Stems up to 15 cm. Leaves elliptic to oblong, the lower somewhat spathulate, pilose. Bracts herbaceous. Pedicels exeeeding the sepals, deflexed at last in fruit. Sepals 4-6 mm, with scarious margins, glandular-pubescent. Petals 1,5-2 x longer than the sepals, claws glabrous. Capsule somewhat exserted from the calyx, teeth with revolute margins. Fl. 4. 0n serpentine perhaps elsewhere.
