Plants procumbent; stem 3–15 cm long, with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate hairs, branched from base, and a woody caudex enclosed by remains of old stipules. Stipules 3.0–3.5 mm long, ovate, acute, densely appressed white, ± bifurcate hairy, black ciliate on the margin, free from petiole, vaginate–connate behind the stem, overlapping internodes. Leaves 0.5–2.0 cm long, shorter than peduncles; petiole 1.0–1.5 mm long, appressed hairy. Leaflets linear-oblong, 1–2 × 0.3–0.5 mm, on both sides densely covered with appressed bifurcate hairs, in 4–7 pairs. Peduncles 1.0–1.5 cm long, as long as, shorter or longer than leaves; densely covered with appressed white and black hairs. Racemes globose, 5–15 flowered, ± elongating in fruit. Bracts 1–2 mm long, ovate-acuminate, membranous, covered with spreading white hairs on dorsal surface and black ciliate at margin. Pedicels to 1 mm long, hairy. Calyx 7–9 mm long, tubular, densely cov­ered with sub-appressed white and loosely appressed black hairs; teeth 0.5–1 mm long, linear, with dominantly black hairs. Corolla violet. Standard 15 mm long, slightly emar­ginate at apex, covered with appressed white hairs on upper side. Wings 11–12 mm long, glabrous. Keel 8–9 mm long, covered with appressed white hairs on dorsal surface. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary ± sessile, ellipsoid, hairy. Legume 4–5 × 3–4 mm, ovoid, ± sessile with a curved beak 2–3 mm long, bilocular with 1–2 seeds in each locule; valves densely covered with spreading white hairs.
