Stems 10-20 cm, branched, slender, brittle, usually trailing, shortly villous or pubescent. Leaves triangular and truncate or subcordate at base, or broadly ovate and rounded-cuneate at base, craspedodromous, with 4-6 teeth per side, shortly villous or pubescent. Verticillasters 2-6-flowered and shortly pedunculate,  ±approximate. Bracteoles linear-lanceolate to lanceolate-acuminate, 1-3 mm. Calyx 8-10 mm, 11-veined, densely glandular-puberulent and often patently eglandular-pilose or pubescent on veins, throat glabrous, bilabiate to 1/5-1/4; teeth ± ciliate, upper teeth 1-2 mm, lower teeth 1.5-2.2 mm. Corolla pale lilac , 18-25 mm, tube slender and long-exserted from calyx, gradually widening towards limb.
