Robust herb. Leaves 2-3 x pinnatisect. Inflorescence dense, c. 20-flowered, long-peduncled. Bracts linear-lanceolate, somewhat shorter than the fruiting pedicels. Pedicels rigidly recurved in fruit. Sepals 4-6 x 2,5-3 mm, oval, toothed near the base. Corolla 10-12 mm, white. Fruit 2,0-2,3 x 1,8-2,3 mm, smooth, or very faintly rugulose, with a distinct fleshy neck. Fl. 4-6. Waste places, s.I.-300m.
