Bulb ovoid, 1-1.8 cm diam.; outer tunics black, membranous; bulblets few, yellow or brownish, oblong-ovoid, fusiform, stipitate, often borne on stem. Stem 50-65 cm. Leaves 2-4, 2.5-4 mm broad, flat, sometimes very slightly scabrid on margin. Spathe caducous, with 5-8 cm beak. Umbel globose, 3-5 cm diam. Pedicels 1.5-2 cm, very thin. Perianth broadly campanulate; segments white with green midvein, 2-2.5 mm, smooth, subequal in length but inner broader than outer; outer oblong, inner obovate, emarginate. Filaments strongly exserted; median cusp of inner filaments shorter than lateral cusps and somewhat shorter than basal lamina. Capsule 3.5-4 mm, equal to or longer than perianth. FL 6-7. Limestone cliffs, near seashore, crevices of rocky outcrops, 10-300 m.
