Hispid or ± puberulous, erect, branched annual, 60-80 cm. Lower leaves triangular, 7-15 x 3-10 cm, 2-3-pinnate, ultimate segments ovate to triangular, lobed, 5-20 x4-12 mm. Umbels lateral; peduncle 0-1 cm. Rays 2-4, ± equal, 1-3,5 cm. Bracts absent. Bracteoles 2-3, 1,5-4 mm. Pedicels 3-10, ± equal, thickened in fruit, 2-7 mm, glabrous. Fruits 3-10 per umbellule, ± linear, glabrous or with antrorse bristles, 8-10 x c. 1,5 mm including a 2-3 mm slender beak. Fl. 5. Rocky limestone cliffs, 450-1300 m.
