Annual, 20-35 cm, erect, flexuose in upper part, branches weak, less than 15 cm. Rays 1-2, if two, unequal, 8-15 mm, about equalling peduncle. Bracts 2-3, slightly unequal, 2-3 mm. Bracteoles 4, shorter than flowers, 1,5-2 mm, elliptic to ovate. Bracteoles, rays, petals and fruit top smooth at low magnification. Umbellules 3-5-flowered. Petals 0,65 mm, inflexed lobe long, varyingly broad, ± truncate. Anthers c. 0,4 mm. Stylopodium 0,65-0,8 mm broad, styles 0,3-0,4 mm. Fruit 3 mm, very broad, retuse, smooth. Fl. 5-6. Open Pinus brutia forest, at least partly on serpentine, 70-1100 m.
Endemic. Close to B. brachiatum and B. dichotomum. E. Medit. element.
