Erect annual, 25-50 cm, stem strong. Lower cauline leaves elliptic to ovate, 2-4 cm, cordate-amplexicaul, upper ones ± orbicular, perfoliate, yellowish. Rays 8-10, unequal, 3-10 mm. Bracteoles 5, 3 large and 2 much smaller, or in inner umbellules only 1 large. Large bracteoles connate 1/3-1/2 of their length. Petals golden yellow, 0,5-0,6 mm. Anthers 0,4-0,5 mm. Stylopodium 1-1,2 mm broad, styles 0,4-0,5 mm. Fruit 2,5-2,7 mm, irregularly tuberculate, ridges with wings 0,1-0,2 mm broad. Fl. 5-7. Steppe, saline earth, slopes and ledges, secondarily as a segetal weed, 800-1200 m.
