Erect perennial; stems 60-100 cm, striate, glabrous. Basal leaves 4-ternate, obovate in outline, ultimate segments linear, 5-15 x c. 1 mm, glabrous. Upper stem leaves compound. Rays 7-12. Bracteoles linear, glabrous. Petals glabrous. Fruit 10-11 x c. 7 mm, ellipsoidal; ridges acute, cristate-dentate. Fl. 5-6. Phrygana, cultivated ground. s.l.-300 m.
