Dwarf glaucous perennial with creeping caudiculi; stems 10-20 cm, ridged. Leaves all radical, 2-4 cm with petioles, orbicular-cuneate, deeply 3-lobed with lobed segments, to 1-pinnate with 1-2 pairs of deeply divided leaflets. Inflorescence dichotomously branched; umbels 3-4-rayed; rays unequal, glabrous; bracts absent; bracteoles 1-3, setaceous. Flowers yellow, 3-6 per umbellule. Fruit 5-7 x 3-4 mm, narrowly obovate or elliptic; wings c. 0,5 mm; valleculae 2-3-vittate; commissures 6-vittate. Fl. 7-8. Limestone screes, 1800-2500m.
