Softly hairy annual branching at or near the base. Stems ascending, 8-25 cm high. Basal and lower cauline leaves simple, or 1-3-pinnate, leaflets rounded to ovate, crenate; upper cauline leaves simple, lanceolate to basally lobed, dentate. Umbels 2-4-rayed, rays slender, unequal, slightly scabrous. Bracts 3-5, broadly lanceolate, cuspidate, deflexed; bracteoles 5, broadly lanceolate, cuspidate with membranaceous ciliate margins. Flowers white, 7-10 per umbellule. Mericarps ovate to suborbicular, 5-6 x2,5-3,5 mm, margins thickened, moniliform; abaxial face with thin acute hairs. Dorsal vittae 4, peripheral ones covered by moniliform margins, commissural 2. 2n = 8. Fl. 4-5. Limestone cliffs, open fields, s.l.-1000 m.
