Scape very short, flowers borne at soil level or just above. Leaves to 12 cm, narrowly linear, c. 2 mm broad, with a white line on upper surface; margins entire, glabrous. Raceme corymbose, with 3-6 flowers. Perianth segments c. 12 mm, white inside, white with a green fascia outside. Fruiting pedicels arcuate-spreading. Capsule unwinged. Fl. 6. Snow melt.
