Stem 5-15 cm, furcate. Indumentum adpressed, greyish. Leaves 4-10 x 0,5-1,2 mm, oblong-linear to linear, flat. Capitula 2,5-3,5 x 1,5-2 mm, pyramidal-ovoid, 5-angled, in clusters of 3-7, terminal and in forks of stem, not overtopped by subtending leaves. Median paleae 2,5-3,5 x 0,8-1 mm, glabrous above, only slightly saccate at base. Inner female flowers 2,5 mm, many; hermaphrodite flowers c. 2,5 mm, 3-5. Achenes of outer female flowers 0,8-0,9 mm, those of inner flowers 0,5-0,6 mm. Pappus 2 mm. Fl. 5. Sandy places, 600-700 m.
