Plant 15-40 cm, greenish, with an indumentum of short mostly glandular pubescent, and spreading 1-3 mm eglanduler setiform hairs. Basal leaves linear-lanceolate, acute, 3-18 x 0,5-2 cm; cauline linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, 3-7 x 0,5-1,5 cm. Cymes 15-20 cm in fruit. Bracts linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, acute, 0,5-3 x 0,2-1 cm. Calyx 5-8 mm in flower, 9-13 mm in fruit, lobes linear-lanceolate. Corolla blue, glabrous outside, 12-15 mm, limb 5-10 mm diam. Nutlets 3-4 mm diam., densely scrobiculate-reticulate; beak moderately deflexed. Fl. 4-7. Dry slopes, steppe, 1100-1700 m.
