Plant 10-25 cm, white-tomentose, eglandular, with dense indumentum of very short crisped interwoven hairs, and less numerous soft 1-2 mm ± adpressed hairs. Basal leaves linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, acute, 2-6 x 0,3-1,5 cm; cauline linear-lanceolate to ovate, obtuse to subacute, 1,5-4x0,2-1 cm. Cymes 10-20 cm in fruit. Bracts linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, 1-2 x 0,3-0,8 cm, twice as long as calyx. Calyx 4-6 mm in flower, 7-8 mm in fruit. Corolla blue, glabrous outside, 10-11 mm, limb 4-8 mm diam. Nutlets 1,5-2 mm diam., densely tuberculate, warts subacute, conical, not confluent at base; beak deflexed. Fl. 5-7. Limestone rocks, macchie, 30-2000 m.
