Annual herb. Stems simple or branched, up to 15 cm. Leaves oblanceolate to spathulate, with stellate hairs on both surfaces. Petals yellow, 3,5-4 mm. Fruit ovate-orbicular, compressed, without a membranous margin, covered with long capitate bristles, which are smooth or barbuIate only near the apex, and shorter, forked hairs. Style 2,5-3,5 mm. Fruiting pedicels abruptly refracted, straight. Fl. 5. Rocky places,fallow fields, hillsides, 700-1500 m.
