Caespitose perennial. Stems up to 7 cm, terete, with a sparse indumentum of bifid hairs. Leaves linear-setaceous to linear-acicular, at most 2 mm wide, canescent with bifid hairs. Sepals saccate, 6-8 mm. Petals bright yellow, 10-12 mm. Siliquae strongly dorsally flattened, up to 3 mm or more wide, the valves with a prominent mid-vein, and an indumentum of bifid hairs. Style 3-4,5 mm. Fl. 5-6. Rocky slopes and screes, 1200-2900 m.
