Biennial or perennial. Stems erect, 30-100 cm, unwinged, with a rather sparse indumentum of bifid hairs. Lower leaves dentate to lyrate-pinnatifid, upper leaves lanceolate, dentate to subentire; all green with a sparse indumentum of 3-4-fid hairs on both surfaces. Sepals 5-7 mm. Petals pale yellow to yellow, 8-11 mm. Siliquae tetragonal, adpressed to the axis, 20-30 mm, with an indumentum of 4-5-fid hairs. Style 2-3 mm, stigma capitate. Fl. 4-7. Slopes, s.I.-1650 m.
