Hesperis matronalis 

Ssp matronalis: Akşamyıldızı; Ssp sintenisii: Seheryıldızı
Biennial or rarely perennial herb. Stems tall, up to 100 cm, erect, with long, eglandular, simple hairs, and short, simple glandular or eglandular hairs. Lower leaves repand-dentate to subentire. Stem leaves with a short petiole, not amplexicaul. Sepals 6-8 mm. Petals lilac to white, 11-21 mm. Siliquae ascending-erect, asperous. A complex species, divisible into a number of subspecies, four of which occur in Turkey:
1. Petals 11-15 mm; stem with many glandular hairs ................................subsp. cilicica 
1. Petals 15-21 mm; stem with few glandular hairs, or glandular hairs absent except on the pedicels
  2. Lower leaves subentire; pedicels glandular ...............subsp. adzharica
  2. Lower leaves dentate; pedicels eglandular
    3. Petals lilac ................................subsp. matronalis 
    3. Petals white .....................................................subsp. woronowii
