Semi-shrub, 15-30 cm, flowering stems usually simple, glabrous. Leaves oblong to oblong-spathulate up to 3 cm, subsessile, distributed over upper parts of flowering stems, margins entire. Petals white to lilac; outer 7-11 x 2-5 mm; inner 5-7 x 2-4 mm. Filaments round-shouldered, neither toothed nor dilated. Fruiting pedicels 6-9 mm. Fruit ovate to obovate, 8-10 x 6-9 mm; wing 1,5-2,3 mm; sinus wide, 1-1,5 mm deep; septum 6-8 x 1 mm; style 1,5-3 mm. Seeds 1-2. Fl. 4-6. Rocky slopes, often limestone, and cliffs, 1000-2400 m.
