Biennial or perennial. Stem 20-30 cm, softly hirsute below, laxly panicled from below the middle. Leaves thin, villose-hirsute; basal leaves oblanceolate, sub-entire, those of the flowering stem soon withering; upper stem leaves linear, acutely auricled . Flowers unknown. Fruit broadly obovate or orbicular, 10-14x7-12 mm, deeply emarginate, densely villose, the hairs on the loculus much longer than those on the wing, wing thin, undulate and much broader than the non-rugose loculus, midrib slender, hidden by hair. Fl. 4-5 ? Bushy places.
