Perennial up to 1 m, stoloniferous, flowering stems single, much branched in region of the dense paniculate inflorescence, glabrous or rarely pubescent. Basal leaves long-petiolate, simple, ovate-lanceolate, toothed at margins, glabrous or velutinous with stellate hairs . Cauline leaves lanceolate sessile. Petals white or pale pink, 2,5-3 x 1,5 mm, obovate-orbicular, distinctly clawed. Fruiting pedicels slender, 3-5 mm. Siliculae orbicular to obovate, 1,5-2 x 1-2 mm without apical sinus. Stigma capitate, sessile. Fl. 5-7. Marshy places, edge of cultivation, s.l.-1500 m.
