Annual, 5-35 cm, with one or several simple stems, glabrous, ± glaucous. Basal leaves few, rosette-forming, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, entire or toothed. Inflorescence slightly elongating in fruit. Petals oblong, rounded or sub-acute at apex. Fruiting pedicels horizontally spreading, 4-8 mm. Siliculae obcordate, 6-7 x 4-6 mm; apical sinus shallow and broad; septum 5 x 1,5-2, oblique. Seeds golden-brown, smooth, not mucilaginous, 2-4 in each loculus. Fl. 2-5. Rocky slopes and waste places, from 50-2000 m.
