Biennial up to 60 cm, glabrous, glaucous, usually much branched in region of inflorescence. Basal leaves fleshy, spathulate, orbicular or linear-spathulate, gradually drawn out into petiole, toothed on margins and at apex. Cauline leaves semi-amplexicaul, ovate-cordate, subauriculate, entire, acuminate at apex. Petals 3,5-5 x 1-3 mm, white. Fruiting pedicels 4-13 mm. Fruits elliptical, 4-9 x 2-3 mm, attenuate at base and apex; style 0,5 mm, stigma capitate; septum 7-10 x 2-2,5 mm. Seeds finely striate, 2 in each loculus. Fl. 5-7. Stony slopes and screes, 1950-2700 m.
