Stoloniferous perennial herb. Stems erect, ± glabrous, up to 70 cm. Leaves all simple, narrowly elliptic, the lower irregularly serrate, the upper ± entire, all auriculate at the base. Petals yellow, 3-4.5 mm. Siliculae globose, 1.5-3.0 mm in diameter, borne on horizontal to ascending pedicels. Style about as long as the fruit. Fl. 5-6. Wet places, s.l.-1500 m.
Europe, Caucasia, Transcaspia; introduced in parts of W. Europe, and perhaps elsewhere.
