Perennial, c. 30 cm. Lower flowering shoot leaves 40-50 x 1,5 mm, flat, long-acuminate. Flowers solitary or stems branched above, pedicels c. 2 cm. Bracteoles 4, 1/2 calyx length, ovate, at least the inner long-acute to subobtuse, sometimes apiculate, outer often cuspidate, margins membranous. Calyx 23-26 x 3,5-4 mm, puberulent, widest in the lower half, teeth 7-7,5 mm, lanceolate, apiculate, margins narrowly membranous. Petal limb 10 mm, fimbriate, ebarbulate, claw exserted. Fl. 5-8. Rock crevices.
