Prostrate herb. Leaves 3-6 x 1-2 mm, narrowly elliptic to oblanceolate-obovate, slightly mucronate, glabrous, with denticulate-ciliate margins. Stipules narrowly ovate-lanceolate, shorter than leaves. Flower clusters 4-7 mm diam, usually axillary, not well defined. Bracts 2,5-4 mm, ovate-Ianceolate, exceeding but not quite concealing the flowers. Flowers 1,25-1,75 mm, with very short, fine hairs at the base. Sepals oblong, very shortly cucullate and awned; awns 0,25 mm. Fl. 6-8. Mountains, 1500-2500 m.
