Differs from P. prolifera in its stem with the middle internodes pubescent, the leaf sheaths 2 or more x longer than broad, the upper leaves with smooth margins, seeds 1-1,3 x 0,7-0,8 mm. Fields, banks, hillsides, s.l.-400 m. Fl. 4-6.
