Annual. Stems erect, up to 40 cm, sparingly puberulent, usually glabrous above. Leaves linear-lanceolate, the lower sparsely puberulent. Inflorescence a compound dichasium. Calyx glabrous, contracted at the apex, 15-20 mm, 10-nerved, the nerves not anastomosing. Petals pink, the limb deeply emarginate. Anthophore 8-11 mm, glabrous. Capsule oblong, included in the calyx. Fl. 5-6. Hillsides, rocky places, 650-1100 m.
Endemic; in facies rather similar to some species of Sect. Rigidulae. E. Medit. element.
