Ascending caulescent perennial; stems 10-20 cm, white-tomentose. Leaves imparipinnate; rachis at length spiny, 5-12 cm, persistent; leaflets 4-5 mm, ovate-orbicular, glabrous above, adpressed simple-canescent beneath, 12-25-paired; stipules c. 7 mm, triangular. Peduncles 0-1 cm. Flowers pedicellate, in conferted, 2-4-flowered racemes. Bracts c.4 mm, linear-lanceolate. Calyx 16-18 mm, tubular, pilose or glabrescent; teeth c. 3 mm. Flower colour unknown ; standard 25-30 mm. Legume 45-50 x 5-6 mm, linear-lanceolate, subcompressed, adpressed white-pilose, becoming glabrescent on maturity; beak c. 5mm.
