Dwarf, cushion-forming shrub. Stems up to 6 cm, bifurcate-pilose. Leaves upto 4 cm; rachis spiny; leaflets elliptic or obovate, acute, both surfaces densely crisped bifurcate-pilose, 3-5-paired; stipules 5-7 mm, ovate, membranous, united at base. Flowers in dense 2-8-flowered spikes. Bracts 4-6 mm, broadly ovate, mucronate, membranous. Bracteoles ovate, membranous. Calyx 8-9 mm, tubular. densely ±spreading bifurcate-hairy; teeth 3-4 mm. Corolla yellowish; standard 11-14 mm, densely hairy. Young legume hairy. Fl. 7-8. Rocky slopes, 1750 m.
