Erect, suffruticose, caulescent perennial, up to c. 30 cm. Leaves 3-7 cm; leaflets 10-20 mm, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, bifurcate-sericeous, especially below, 4-8-paired; stipules c. 3 mm, lanceolate, joined at the base. Peduncles 2-6 cm. Inflorescence a lax, cylindrical, 6-15-flowered spike, elongating in fruit. Bracts c.1 mm, narrowly lanceolate. Calyx 6-8 mm, tubular, long white adpressed bifurcate-pilose, with a few short black bifurcate hairs; tube inflating in fruit; teeth c.1 mm, narrowly triangular. Corolla deep pink; standard 14-17 mm. Legume c. 8 x 4 mm, densely long white simple-pilose; beak c. 3 mm. Fl. 6. Halophytic communities, stony hills, etc., 800-1400 m.
