Scapose, perennial with a woody base. Leaves 8-18 cm; leaflets 14-32 mm, ovate to elliptic, adpressed bifurcate-hairy, single to 5-paired; stipules c. 4 mm, linear. Peduncles 13-15 cm. Inflorescence a lax, cylindrical, 20-40-flowered raceme; flowers subsessile. Bracts c. 5 mm, linear-Ianceolate. Calyx 12-14 mm, tubular, adpressed bifurcate-hairy; teeth c. 6 mm, linear. Corolla brownish-pink; standard 18-20 mm, not attenuate above. Legume 16-22 x 3 mm, shortly cylindrical, curved upwards, white adpressed .bifurcate-haiIy, pendulous to erectopatent; beak c. 4 mm. FI. 6. Under Quercus, steppe, igneous slopes etc., 850-1600 m.
