Sturdy ascending-erect annual, 15-35 cm. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 5-7-paired, obovate-oblong to elliptic, 7-15 mm, sharply and usually ± doubly serrate, pubescent with glandular and more numerous eglandular hairs. Peduncle and pedicel longer than the short petiole; awn 1-2,5 mm. Flowers solitary, 10-12 mm, mauve or white. Calyx subgibbous. Legume ellipsoid, 17-22 mm, glandular-pilose. Seeds 1-2, large, smooth, warty or rugulose. Fl. 5-6.
