Plant 5-10 cm, densely silky-pubescent with adpressed hairs. Leaves trifoliolate; leaflets lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, acute, 5-15 x 2-4 mm. Peduncle 1-4 cm. Flower-heads ovate to oblong, 2,5 x 2 cm. Outer bracts linear-lanceolate, long acuminate, 7-9 x 1-2 mm. Calyx 9-11 mm, somewhat longer than corolla, teeth subequal. Corolla 8-10 mm, purple, petals glabrous, standard longer than keel. Fl. 6-7. Rocky igneous slopes, Pinus nigra forest, 1100-1450 m.
