Slender, scrambling, glaucous annual, 20-60 em, ± pubescent. Stems rather narrowly winged. Lower leaves aristate, with a pair of obovate leaflets; the remainder bearing simple or 2-3-sect tendrils; leaflets 1-paired, narrowly elliptic, 25-50 x 7-15 mm; stipules subulate, semi-hastate. Peduncles 2-3-flowered, much longer than leaves. Calyx 6-8 mm; teeth subequal, ovate-triangular acuminate, 1-1 ½ x as long as tube. Standard purple-pink with paler wings, 14-18 mm, standard retuse, dorsally pubescent. Legume oblong-linear, ± recurved, c. 23 x 4·5 mm, densely pilose and glandular-verruculose, 4-6-seeded; style 7 mm. FI. 5-6. Macchie, s.l.-420 m.
Endemic; E. Medit. element. Allied to L. phaselitanus.
