Annual with ascending, procumbent or prostrate stems, 5-40 cm. Leaves with 6-10 pairs of retuse, mucronulate, oblong or linear-oblong leaflets; indumentum of adpressed or spreading hairs; stipules united, 2-toothed. Peduncles shorter or longer than leaves, 2,5-7 cm long. Inflorescence 2-5-flowered. Calyx 5,5-8 mm including the 3-6 mm teeth. Corolla pink; standard 5,5-7 mm, emarginate; wings 5-6 mm; keel 5,5-6,5 mm. Ovary glabrous or pilose, 1-3-ovulate. Fruit semiorbicular in outline, 12-15 x 9-12 mm, hirtulous, foveolate on disc with or without teeth, and with 3-4 obtuse or acute irregularly serrate hard teeth on crest. FI. 3-4. Rocky slopes, fallow fields, from sea level to 400 m.
