Perennial with ascending flowering stems 15-30 cm, and leafy sterile shoots. Leaves with 5-6 pairs of linear-oblong leaflets, c. 15 x 2-3 mm, adpressed pilose on both surfaces; stipules connate, scarious. Peduncles as long as or somewhat longer than leaves. Racemes ovate-oblong, slightly elongating in fruit. Calyx 5-8 mm, with teeth 2,5-4 x length of tube, and long erect-spreading hairs on the margin of teeth. Corolla pink; standard c. 7 mm; wings c. 3 mm; keel c. 7 mm. Fruit 4-5 mm, adpressed pilose, with teeth on crest up to 3 mm long, those on disc shorter. FI. 5. Rocky slopes.
