Acaulous procumbent perennial, with a thick woody· branched rootstock. Leaves with 6-10 pairs of leaflets, 3-6 cm long, including the petiole longer or shorter than the rachis; leaflets oblong-elliptic with a dense sericeous indumentum, c. 10x 3 mm. Scapes ascending-erect, 3-9 cm. Inflorescence ± lax, 5-10-flowered, scarcely elongating in fruit. Calyx 6-8 mm, teeth equal to or longer than tube, with long spreading hairs. Corolla pink ; standard 12-13 mm; wings 12 mm; keel 10 mm including a c. 2 mm beak. Legume shortly stipitate, ±ovate-oblong, c. 12 mm, densely covered with long adpressed hairs. Fl. 5-6. Rocky slopes, c. 1800 m.
